National SchoolsSecondary SchoolsSchools now closedCaheraown National SchoolAccording to the old records Caheraown National School had a relatively short lifespan, being in existence from 1868 to 1906. After it's closure it is more than likely that it's remaining pupils transferred to the schools of Coore, Shanaway, Doolough and perhaps Kinturk.
